Procession of the Species Parade
In Historic Downtown Albany
Saturday, April 21, 2012, 10:00 A.M.
Assemble 9:30 A.M. on the Court House Steps
4th Ave. and Broadalbin St.
Calling all parade entrants! Celebrate Earth Day by signing up for the Procession of the Species Parade! Think of your favorite animal, creepy crawly insect, wiggle-waggle fish, picturesque plant or most colorful bird. Create a costume and come join the celebration of each other and our natural world.
Come enjoy the parade! The weather will be warm and dry making it a great opportunity to get outside!

The purpose of this event is to weave awareness and education of our natural world by bringing families, neighbors, businesses, schools, organizations and all interested people together in a colorful parade. Using art and music avenues, participants learn how to be good stewards towards each other and the environment.
