Parade Details
Mission Statement:
The purpose of this event is to weave awareness and education of our natural world by bringing families, neighbors, businesses, schools, organizations and all interested people together in a colorful parade. Using art and music avenues, participants learn how to be good stewards towards each other and the environment.
Who Can Participate:
The Procession of the Species is for people of all ages and walks of life. For the young, the old, the tall, the short, the fast walkers, the slow crawlers, the furry, the feathered, and the fanciful!

No written words
No motorized vehicles
No live animals
How to Get Involved:
- Participate in the parade
- Act as a parade volunteer/worker
- Create ideas with the planning committee
- Help organize/teach art and music workshops
- Donate new and reusable art supplies
- Share workshop space for Procession creatures
- Advertise
- Contribute financially
